Atheronix · Parent brand for web products

Independent web products, built to one standard.

Atheronix is the parent brand for independent web products. Each product runs as a separate venture under its own name and is judged on its own results. All of them follow one standard for accuracy, privacy and clarity.

Start with your question

Practical routes through the calculation guide.

Structure

One parent brand. Separate ventures.

Atheronix sets the shared standard; each product runs beneath it as a separate venture.

  • The parent brand

Researches what to build, sets the shared standard and maintains the automated checks that releases are built and tested against.

  • Each venture

Has its own name, pages and data. A translation into another language is an edition of the same product, not a new venture.

  • Evidence decides

Products are kept, improved or closed according to how people use them and what they tell us.

Principles

Four standards for every product

The same rules apply to every product, whatever its subject.

  1. No account needed

Products work without sign-up, passwords, purchases or subscriptions.

  2. Your inputs stay with you

Energy Compare calculates in your browser. The values you enter are not sent to us.

  3. No cookies. Counting off by default.

Optional usage counts stay off until you allow them, and Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track keeps them off. Only daily totals are kept, for up to 90 days.

  4. Method in the open

Each product publishes its formula, worked examples and limitations, with the date the method was last checked.

Operating model

From question to live product

New products follow this path. Energy Compare went live as a pilot before this path was fully in place.

  1. Research

Find a specific, recurring question and record the sources and the evidence against it.

  2. Review

Before a new product is built, a separate review challenges the case.

  3. Build and test

Write down the formula, limits and privacy choices, then test them.

  4. Publish

Release it with its own language versions, method and support pages.

  5. Measure

Look at how people actually use it and what they tell us, not at our own test traffic.

  6. Decide

Scale, hold or close the product on the evidence.

Questions

Questions about Atheronix

What is Atheronix?

Atheronix is the parent brand for independent web products. Its first live product is Energy Compare, a free beta calculator that compares the electricity running costs of two appliances. Each product has its own name, purpose and pages; Atheronix sets the rules they share.

Which products are available?

One product is live: Energy Compare. It is free, in beta and available in English (UK) and Turkish. Other products will be listed here only once they are live.

Does it cost anything or need an account?

No. Energy Compare is free and works without an account. There are no purchases or subscriptions. It does not sell energy or provide bill quotations, and its results are estimates based on your inputs.

What data does Atheronix collect?

Calculations run in your browser and the values you enter are not sent to us. Optional usage counts are off by default; if you allow them, only daily totals of event type, page language and broad source are kept, for up to 90 days. No cookies are used. As with any website, the hosting network processes your IP address to deliver pages. Details are on the Privacy and support page.

How are new products chosen?

Through research into a specific, recurring need. Before a new product is built, a separate review challenges the case. Search data, including results from the Brave Search API, is a starting point, not proof of demand. Products are listed only once they are live.

Operator and contact

Who runs Atheronix

Atheronix is operated by Hasan Çelik.

For product questions, calculation errors, accessibility issues or privacy requests, email us. Describe problems with invented example values and do not send bills, account numbers or passwords.

Response
No guaranteed response time during the beta.

Aggregate requests

We count page requests by day, page, language and broad source category. IP addresses, browser identifiers, queries, cookies and calculator inputs are not recorded. Intermediate records remain in temporary memory and are deleted after daily aggregation. Aggregates are kept for 90 days; they are not counts of people. Optional calculation measurement can be disabled separately.
